How to Deal with Outlook POP Account Issues?

1. Firstly the user should update the settings of POP account.

  • Firstly you need to upgrade to an app that is more secure and that uses the updated features.
  • Make changes in your account so that applications that are less secure are not accessed to the device.
– If you are Yahoo Pop account user then you should follow these steps:
  • Firstly go to the option account security settings.
  • Now click on the option allow apps that use less secure log in.
  • So as to switch off the application access, just click on deselect the unwanted application.
 
3. The connected POP account should be removed and an IMAP connection should be used:
If the above mentioned steps didn’t resolved your issue then there are chances that the email server which you are using is supported through IMAP. To add IMAP connections users need to follow the below mentioned steps:
– Firstly the users should go to the link: https://outlook.live.com/owa/?path=/options/connections.
-Again sign in with the Microsoft account.
– Go to the option manage the connected accounts, and click on POP account.
– Select the trash option to remove it from there.
– Now select yes in the option remove connected account.
– After the account is removed, again make the account and select on the option create a new folder for the imported emails.
